In a bid to foster collaboration on new projects in the country and worldwide, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday to work together on upcoming metro rail projects.
The agreement between the two organisations designates both organisations as Project Service Providers for a wide range of infrastructure projects.
“This aims at two organisations working on a variety of projects including Metro and Railways, High-Speed Rail, Highways, Mega-Bridges, Tunnels, Institutional Buildings, Workshops or Depots, Signal and Telecommunication (S&T) works, and Railway Electrification,” DMRC’s Principal Executive Director of Corporate Communications Anuj Dayal said.
The MoU was officially signed by the lifeline of the city Delhi Metro’s Director of Business Development Dr. P.K Garg and KRCL’s Chairman and Managing Director Santosh Kumar Jha. “This strategic partnership aims to utilise expertise of both DMRC and KRCL to foster collaboration on a variety of large-scale infrastructure projects.
The collaboration between DMRC and KRCL will help the organisations to work together to develop new projects and share expertise in the future,” Dayal said.
