Dial 100 helps two women reach home

Taking prompt action by Dial-100 two women who were marooned in Barwara police station area of Katni were provided help and dropped the two at their home in the night on Wednesday.

In the evening on Wednesday a woman and her daughter-in-law were  not getting any means to reach home after they missed their bus at night in the Barwara police station area of Katni.

They required assistance and information was received at the state level police control room Dial-100 Bhopal on October 2 at 08:30 pm.

On receiving the information, a Dial-100 vehicle deployed in the Barwara police station area was immediately dispatched for help.

Dial-112 and 100 staff head constable Sushil Dubey and pilot Pankaj Tiwari reached the spot and told that woman Sushma Namdev, who had come to Barwara, was not getting any means to reach Thuthiya Salaiya village after they missed the bus.

Daughter Shalini Namdev had called on Dial-112 and 100 numbers and asked for help. Dial-112 and 100 personnel took the mother and daughter 8 km away in a FRV vehicle and left them in their village Thuthiya Salaiya. The family thanked the Dial-112 and 100 police personnel for helping at night.
