Congress members create pandemonium over nursing scam

Over 300 crores have been amassed illegally by collecting Rs 20000 per seat from operators of the nursing college allegedly by Vishwas Sarang (former Medical Education Minister), he and his committee and Nursing council are responsible for this, said Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Umang Singhar at the Budget Session which started on Monday. 

On the first day of the budget session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Monday, Congress demanded a discussion on the nursing scam.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar said, 'Injustice has been done to the youth, there should be a discussion.' To this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya replied, 'The matter is in court, so there cannot be a discussion.' After this, there was an uproar in the House. Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar adjourned the proceedings till 1 pm.

When the proceedings resumed, Singhar once again talked about discussion. On this, CM Mohan Yadav said, 'We are ready for discussion in the accepted tradition under the rules and procedures. We cannot listen to things with excitement. We speak simple language. We are not afraid of anyone.'

After this, the Assembly Speaker said, 'You both have asked to leave it to me, so we will take care of it tomorrow. There will be a discussion after the Question Hour.'

Congress MLAs arrived to participate in the proceedings of the Assembly wearing aprons. They were holding papers with 'Nursing Scam' written on them.

In the budget session, the MLAs have asked a total of 4287 questions to the government. Of these, 2108 questions are starred and 2179 questions are unstarred. The number of online questions is 2386 while 1901 questions have come offline. The Assembly Secretariat has received 163 notices of attention, 1 of adjournment motion, 27 of private resolution and 43 of zero hour.

Before the start of the assembly proceedings, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and Congress MLAs arrived wearing aprons and raised slogans regarding the nursing scam.

Kamal Nath said, the question is not whether scams happened in the state, the question is which scam did not happen in the state. At the same time, Minister Govind Singh Rajput said - The opposition has neither any issue left nor anyone to speak. If the opposition brings an adjournment motion, we are also ready to answer it.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar said, 300 crores were collected in the state in the nursing scam. Minister Sarang made laws according to his own wishes and made changes. The law reprimanded, but he did not listen. We are demanding the resignation of Vishwas Sarang so that there are no further scams.

After the uproar in the assembly, the proceedings were adjourned and the opposition came out and protested in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, slogans were raised demanding the dismissal of Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang.

Congress MLAs protested over the nursing scam. All the MLAs, including Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, arrived wearing aprons and stickers of nursing scam. They are protesting in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue in the assembly premises.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar said that there should be a discussion on the basis of rules and regulations. Injustice has been done to the youth. Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat asked how many times a student will appear for the exam? After this, there was noise and uproar in the House.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar demanded a discussion on the nursing scam in the House. After this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargi said that the matter is pending in the court, so there cannot be a discussion. On this, there was a situation of uproar in the House for some time.
