Chief Minister Mohan Yadav unveiled a life-size statue of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at the Lalghati intersection today, paying tribute to the strong nationalist thinker and founder of Jan Sangh on his birth anniversary.
Yadav honored Mukherjee for his significant contributions to national unity and integrity.
Yadav stated that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee articulated a nationalist vision for the unity and integrity of the country on an international stage.
Mukherjee played a crucial role in raising awareness and uniting people against efforts to disintegrate the nation and divisive policies concerning Kashmir. The inauguration of Mukherjee's grand statue is a source of pride for the capital. Yadav was addressing the programme organized for the unveiling of Dr. Mukherjee's statue.
In the programme, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur, Mayor Malti Rai, MP VD Sharma, Bhopal MP Alok Sharma, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri, Ajay Jamwal and other public representatives were present.
