Chief Minister Hemant Soren today conducted a surprise inspection of the under-construction flyover from Mecon Chowk (near Van Bhawan) to Sirmatoli Chowk in the capital Ranchi. MLA Kalpana Soren and senior officials of the state government were also present on the occasion. During the inspection, the CM took stock of the progress of the construction work of the flyover and discussed various aspects of the flyover with the concerned officials. The CM directed the officials to pay special attention to the quality and time limit of this flyover construction work.

After inspecting the flyover, the CM, while addressing the media, said that earlier also the flyover project constructed by the state government from Kantatoli to Sirmatoli Chowk has been dedicated to the residents of the capital before the stipulated time limit. The state government officials, engineers and workers engaged in the construction of the flyover are working hard and diligently to ensure that this flyover being constructed from Mecon Chowk (near Van Bhawan) to Sirmatoli Chowk is dedicated to the people of Ranchi before the stipulated time limit.

The Chief Minister said that it is our endeavour to inaugurate this flyover project as soon as possible so that people can get relief from traffic problems. The Chief Minister said that since this flyover is passing over the railway crossing, the points related to the movement of trains are also being taken care of. The Chief Minister said that this flyover will have a distinct identity in the country and the state. This flyover will be a unique flyover in itself.
