Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has extended greetings on the festival of Raksha Bandhan. He said that Raksha Bandhan is the biggest festival of sisters.
It is a celebration of mutual love, trust, devotion, faith, dedication, and harmony between brothers and sisters. This festival is also a unique festival of empowerment of the entire society, family coordination, and the eternal love between brothers and sisters. As a part of the celebration of Raksha Bandhan and Sawan festival, the state government has deposited Rs 250 along with Rs 1250 as shagun in the accounts of sisters under the Ladli Behna Yojana on August 10.
In a program held simultaneously at 25 thousand places in the state, Rs 1897 crore was transferred to the accounts of 1 crore 29 lakh Ladli Behnas doubling the joy and enthusiasm of the sisters.
Chief Minister Yadav said that the state government is committed to the socio-economic empowerment, dignity, and safety of women. He prayed to Baba Mahakal to grant joy and happiness to all sisters and families.
