The newly-appointed lekhpals, who gathered at the Lok Bhavan auditorium for an appointment letter distribution programme on Wednesday, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for ensuring a transparent selection process.

The young and visibly delighted candidates from various districts of the state, after receiving their appointment letters, said, “Thank you, Chief Minister”.

Notably, on Wednesday, CM Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 7,720 lekhpals selected through a fair and transparent recruitment process of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

According to an official communique released on Wednesday evening, Khalil Ahmed, selected from Rampur, shared that despite his previous hard work and selection, he was eliminated during the interview round in 2015. Back then, he had believed that securing a job without paying a bribe was impossible. However, today he expressed his gratitude to CM Yogi for conducting the entire selection process with complete fairness and transparency, enabling many underprivileged individuals like him to receive appointment letters.

Similarly, Neha Tripathi, who received an appointment letter for deployment in Milkipur tehsil of Ayodhya district, said that under the leadership of CM Yogi, all of them were selected impartially, for which she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the chief minister. She added that she will strive to meet the expectations by following the advice of CM Yogi.

Saurav Pandey from Varanasi recounted that after his selection, initially there were challenges posed by some disruptive elements, leading the matter to court. He expressed immense joy that under CM Yogi’s leadership, the Revenue department and the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission efficiently addressed the court’s concerns, conducted the entire selection process transparently and issued appointments within four to five months. Saurav extended heartfelt gratitude to CM Yogi for ensuring total transparency in the recruitment process.

In addition to him, many other newly-selected individuals, including Baaleshwar Patel, Agraj Pratap Singh, Prachi Singh, Paras Mani Singh and Vikas Tripathi, also expressed their thanks to CM Yogi Adityanath for issuing them appointment letters, the release added.
