CM Champai assures everyone will have pucca house by 2027

Chief Minister Champai Soren on Tuesday said that by the year 2027, everyone in Jharkhand will have their own house. No person will be forced to live in a slum, dilapidated house. Everyone will get a three-room permanent house. On its own, the state government has taken steps towards realizing the dream of 20 lakh poor, needy and homeless people of having their own home. Chief Minister Champai Soren said these things while addressing the "Abua Awas Yojana" program organized at Kamar Dudhani in Jama block of Dumka district. On this occasion, he provided approval letters of Abua Awas to 9827 beneficiaries of Dumka, 5711 of Jamtara and 9847 of Deoghar district and transferred Rs 76 crore 15 lakh 50 thousand as the amount of first installment through DBT to their bank account.

The Chief Minister clearly said that action will be taken against those taking unfair advantage of the Abua Housing Scheme and the officers and employees involved along with the middlemen. Under this scheme, pucca houses are to be given to poor, needy and houseless people. He said that there are clear instructions to the officials to take action to sanction houses to the beneficiaries under the priority list with complete transparency.

Soren said that people have elected this government. “This is your government. In such a situation, we will not let your hopes, aspirations, desires and faith be broken,” said Soren. The Chief Minister said in his address that there will be no discrimination against anyone in this state. Everyone will get their rights and entitlements with full respect. No carelessness or negligence of any kind will be tolerated in this.

The Chief Minister said that the state cannot be taken forward without improving the systems. Keeping this in mind, work is being done to strengthen and strengthen all other systems including economic, social, educational and health. The way former Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren ji was giving a new dimension to development under his able leadership even amidst adverse circumstances, our government is doing the work of taking it forward. Keeping in view the thinking and commitment of former Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, our government is putting the schemes on the ground. Reaching out to the last person of the society through various mediums and empowering them.

The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously making efforts towards the empowerment of every class and section including tribals, indigenous people, Dalits, backward classes, farmers-labourers, elderly, disabled, women and children. Under Sarvajan Pension Yojana, all elderly, women, disabled and widows are getting pension. Irrigation facilities are being provided in the fields so that farmers can do agricultural work throughout the year. Apart from this, there are many such schemes through which people are getting a chance to move forward. You joined the government schemes and became a partner in the development of the state.

The Chief Minister said that the government is committed to providing better education to the children of the state. Because, without good education the society cannot progress. The Chief Minister said that the government has made arrangements to ensure that no child's education is interrupted due to financial constraints. There is Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana for girl students, while the state government is providing financial assistance for preparing for competitive exams and doing various courses. The amount of scholarship has been increased significantly. Education loans are being given to students through Guruji Credit Card Scheme. Not only this, the government is also giving 100% scholarship for higher education abroad.

 On this occasion, Minister Mr. Satyanand Bhokta, MP Mr. Vijay Hansda, MLA Mr. Nalin Soren, Dr. Stephen Marandi, Mrs. Sita Soren, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Yadav, Mr. Basant Soren, Mr. Irfan Ansari, Mr. Dinesh William Marandi, District Council President Mrs. Joyce Besra, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary of Rural Development Department Shri Chandrashekhar and other senior officials of the state government were present.
