Chief Minister Champai Soren today announced to provide the benefits of Abua Awas Yojana to 9 lakh needy houseless families in the next three months. The Chief Minister said that within the coming 3 months, complete preparations are being made to provide the benefits of Abua Housing Scheme to 9 lakh poor families simultaneously. He said that former Chief Minister Hemant Soren has done the work of closely understanding the pain and suffering of the people living in the rural areas of the state. We will work to reach the state government schemes to the last person standing in the way of development.

Under your plan, “Apki Yojna-Apki Sarkar-Apke Dwar”, officials of the block and district headquarters have done the work of reaching village-panchayat and door-to-door to solve the problems of the people. Our government's effort is to strengthen the rural economy by linking it with the government's ambitious schemes. Soren was addressing people at the distribution ceremony of letters sanctioned under "Abua Awas Yojana" organized at Giridih Stadium on Tuesday.

The CM said that today our government has reached the land of Giridih to provide the benefits of 'Abua Awas Yojana' to the needy families. Today, more than 35 thousand homeless families of three districts Bokaro, Dhanbad and Giridih are getting the benefit of Abua Awas Yojana. It is an irony for the people of Jharkhand that the coal here is lighting the country but people in the rural areas of these districts are still forced to live in mud houses or slums. The Chief Minister said that former Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren tried to understand the condition and lifestyle of all the communities of Jharkhand including tribals, indigenous people, Dalits, backward classes, minorities etc.

Soren said that better work has been done to strengthen the education system in Jharkhand. Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren has done the work of bringing a lot of changes in the field of education. Our government has increased the scholarship amount for students studying in government schools of Jharkhand by three times. The Chief Minister said that the previous government had done the work of closing 5 thousand primary schools running in the state. We think that the children of the poor, labourers and farmers here should also be provided with all possible help so that they can get better education.

The CM said that our government has started working with the aim of providing water to the fields of every farmer. Work is being done to supply water to the fields of farmer brothers through pipelines in various rural areas of Santal Division, Kolhan Division and Palamu Division. Our government is making every possible effort to strengthen the farmers economically. The work of providing water to the fields of farmer brothers by laying irrigation pipelines through various dams and barrages is in progress.

The CM said that continuous work is being done to increase road connectivity in the city and rural areas. Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren has done the work of laying more road networks within the state. Our government is strengthening and constructing 15,000 kilometers of roads to provide road connectivity in rural areas.
