Chief Minister Mohan Yadav dedicated the open jail colony Bhairavgarh in Ujjain on Saturday. This initiative of the State Government intends rehabilitation of prisoners. It has a capacity of 20 inmates. They could stay with their families. It is constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore 25 lakh 48 thousand. They will get employment according to their skills.
Member of Parliament Anil Firojiya, Ujjain North MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera, Additional Chief Secretary Rajesh Rajoura, State Jail DG Govind Pratap Singh, Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Gupta and DIG Jail MR Patel were present in the programme.
It is noteworthy that Ujjain Bhairavgarh open jail is the eighth open jail. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is committed to providing all basic facilities to the prisoners. Dr. Yadav inspected the open jail colony.
