Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav participated in the plantation programme organised in Indore under the resolution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign. After arriving in Indore, they first garlanded the statue of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Minister Yadav also planted Rudraksha saplings on this occasion.
On this occasion, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Golu Shukla, Gaurav Randive, Chintu Verma and other public representatives were specially present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is a matter of great pleasure for us that Prime Minister Modi has launched the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign for environmental protection. Under this campaign, 5.5 crore saplings are being planted in the entire state. It is a matter of pride that the work of planting 51 lakh saplings has been started in Indore city and the entire district. He said that the plantation campaign in the state is taking the form of a mass campaign. Active participation of every section of the society is being seen in this.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister and Union Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav offered prayers to Lord Jagannath at Jagdish Temple in Ujjain on Sunday morning and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that as per tradition, the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will be taken out with full enthusiasm.
Yadav said that there is an atmosphere of great joy and happiness regarding the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath. He also congratulated the people of the state for Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra. On this occasion, public representatives like MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Vivek Joshi, Satyanarayan Khoiwal, Sanjay Aggarwal, and Ravi Shankar Verma were present.
