CAIT calls for extension of train services in Chhattisgarh

Saturday, 27 July 2024 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) demanded on Friday that the government run the Duronto Express train from Raipur to Ahmedabad and the Bilaspur-Rewa Rewanchal Express till Durg.

CAIT National Senior Vice President Amar Parwani and state President Jitendra Doshi submitted a memorandum to Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw over the delay and cancellation of passenger trains.

They said that in the event of the cancellation of local passenger trains, people should be given the right to travel on long-distance trains.

They said that the lives of people and businesses are adversely affected due to the  cancellations and delays of passenger trains.

Traders have to go to other cities to get their goods, and the general public is facing a lot of problems, they said.
