Bus drivers, conductors strike demanding PF continues

Over 150 city buses are not operating in Bhopal for the last 4 days. More than 300 drivers and conductors are angry due to non-deposit of PF (Provident Fund) amount, these buses were not operated even on Monday.

The operation of Maa Associate buses has been closed since June 14.

Drivers and conductors are also protesting at the city bus depot located at Bagh Mugalia under the banner of Bhopal City Vehicle Driver-Conductor Trade Union INTUC Bhopal. They said that the concerned bus company has not deposited the PF amount for about 14 months.

This is a case of breach of trust. Therefore, the amount should be given immediately. Only after this will the buses run. BCLL is also in the mood to take action in this matter. BCLL has given notice to the concerned bus company. In which the reason for not depositing the amount has been asked.
