Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) organized a program at the Bokaro Club premises to mark International Yoga Day. The event was graced by BSL's Director-in-Charge, Birendra Kumar Tiwari, Executive Director (Projects & Additional Charge Material Management) Chitta Ranjan Mohapatra, Executive Director (HR & Additional Charge Works) Rajan Prasad, Chief Medical Officer Dr. B.B. Karunamoy, along with other senior executives, employees, their families, and students from B.S.L. School. Yoga Guru Krishna Bandhu Mishra from the Yoga Center, Sector-4 Bokaro, conducted the session.
The program commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting by DIC Tiwari, the executive directors, senior officials, and the Yoga Guru. Mishra provided detailed information about yoga, demonstrating various asanas and pranayama techniques. Participants eagerly practiced these under his guidance.
Apart from the main event, International Yoga Day was also celebrated at the Collieries Division and the Jharkhand Group of Mines under BSL, where employees and their families participated enthusiastically.
