CMPDI inducts Electric Vehicles into its fleet

Ajay Kumar, Director (Technical/P&D); Satish Jha, Director(Technical/ES) and S.K. Sinha, C.V.O., CMPDI flagged off the fleet of 23 electric cars at CMPDI (HQ), Ranchi on Monday and inducted Electric Vehicles (EVs) into the fleet of CMPDI. CMPDI in its endeavor for Sustainable development inducted EVs which will help in reduction of Greenhouse gases emissions, improving air quality and reducing noise pollution. It is pertinent to mention here that CMPDI in March, 2024 inducted 10 Electric Vehicles into his fleet. With this latest addition, CMPDI has 33 Electric Vehicles in his fleet. SK Dubey, GM(TS/PR), Vinod Kumar, GM (E&M) and other senior officials were present on this occasion.

Tribal Pride Day celebrated in RRD

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the fourth Tribal Pride Day will be celebrated in Ranchi Railway Division from 18 November to 26 November 2024. On Monday ADRM Hemraj Meena, Branch Officer of the Division, other officers and employees paid tribute by offering flowers to the picture of Bhagwan Birsa Munda on platform number one of Hatia station. The ADRM visited the exhibition based on the biography of freedom fighters of Jharkhand and their contribution to the freedom struggle at Hatia station. This exhibition will be displayed at Hatia Railway Station till 26 November 2024, so that passengers will be able to know about the unforgettable role of tribal fighters in the freedom struggle. Under the program, a play based on the biography of Bhagwan Birsa Munda was also staged at Hatia station by the Cultural Department of the Division.
