DPS Ranchi celebrates Teachers' Day

 

Delhi Public School Ranchi was abuzz with excitement and gratitude as the teachers of Primary and Secondary Wing came together to celebrate Teachers' Day with unparalleled zeal and fervour. The day was commemorated with a series of heartwarming events and activities. The presence of teachers in their traditional finery marked the celebration. The occasion was presided over by Principal, Dr. R.K.Jha. The celebration started with lighting the auspicious lamp and paying homage to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a philosopher and a great teacher known for his contribution to the Education System of India. Speaking on the occasion, Dr R K Jha said, “Teachers nourish and prepare students for their future as they are the real icons of knowledge and wisdom. They create awareness among the students and common people. Our teachers are the true pillars of our success. A teacher’s determination and sincerity shapes the destiny of the nation.” 

 

Teachers' Day at Cambrian Public School

India is probably the first Country in the world where teachers are given the status of God. There are innumerable and wonderful examples of the Guru-Shishya tradition here, said Principal Dr. Neeta Pandey in the Teachers' Day celebration organized at Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road, Ranchi. Earlier, Chairman of the school management and chief guest of the program Pancham Singh and Anandmayi Singh inaugurated the program by garlanding the picture of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He said that teachers should discharge their duties with full honesty, so that twenty-first century India can establish its identity as a strong, powerful and best nation on the world stage. On this occasion, special guest Komal Singh, Vice Principal Premlata Kumari and other teachers were present.

 

Teacher's Day at DAV Hazaribag

 

Teacher’s Day Celebration was inaugurated by Praveen Ranjan District Education Officer Hazaribag,  Sanjay  Tiwari, Dinesh Khandelwal  Vice Chairman,  Kavita Pandey Principal In Charge , Sampa Srivastava,  Kiran Mishra and Ravi Sinha. Kavita Pandey Principal In Charge of the school welcomed all and in her address she said that it was indeed a great moment for the school. She also made the people aware of the students ' remarkable achievements. Thereafter, she read out the message of Poonam Suri President DAV CMC , New Delhi. The Chief Guest Praveen Ranjan felicitated all teachers and in his address,  he said that the students of DAV have been performing exceedingly well in scholastic as well as co scholastic activities which clearly reflect dedication, devotion and hard work  of teaching faculty members. He also expressed his good wishes and said that teachers are always respectful; their work must be recognized every day as they build the society.

 

Teachers' Day at MGM HSS, Sector 4F

 

MGM Higher Secondary School, Sector 4F, Bokaro celebrated Teachers' Day on Thursday with great enthusiasm and reverence. Principal Father Dr. Joshi Varghese, along with the teachers and students, paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He emphasized the importance of teachers in guiding students from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. He remarked that teachers not only impart academic education but also provide practical wisdom, showing students the path to success in life. He stressed that knowledge cannot be attained without a teacher, and therefore, students must always respect their gurus.

 

Grand Teachers' Day celebration at MAPS

 

Mithila Academy Public School, Sector 4/E, celebrated Teachers' Day with grandeur on Thursday. The event was graced by Surendra Kumar Jha, DIG, Bokaro, as the chief guest. The guests included Gyanesh Jha, CGM Vigilance & A.E.B.O, along with Chairman Hari Mohan Jha,  Batohi Kumar, Secretary Pramod Kumar Jha Chandan and others. In their speeches, the chief guests emphasized the vital role of teachers and parents, stating that the first teachers in anyone's life are their parents. They also highlighted the ancient tradition of the Guru-Shishya relationship in India, where teachers are seen as creators and guides of knowledge, worthy of reverence. In a captivating theatrical performance, students portrayed the traditional stories of Eklavyaand Arjuna, showcasing the essence of the Guru-Shishya relationship.

 

Tribute to Mentors at PAS, Bokaro

 

Pentecostal Assembly School (PAS) Bokaro celebrated Teachers' Day with immense enthusiasm and appreciation, honouring the unwavering dedication of its educators. Dr. D.N. Prasad, Director, and Rita Prasad, Chief Academic Officer, highlighted the pivotal role of teachers in shaping future generations. School Vice-Captain Anurag Gupta delivered an emotional speech. Administrative Officer Daniel Michael Prasad and Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad recognized the tireless dedication of the teachers, encouraging students to honour and appreciate their mentors every day. The event was a touching tribute to the school's educators, making it a day to remember.

 

Loyola School celebrates Teachers' Day

 

Loyola School, Jamshedpur, hosted a heartfelt celebration on Thursday, in honour of Teachers, paying tribute to the invaluable contributions of its educators in shaping the minds and futures of students. The event was marked by a series of vibrant activities, highlighting the dedication and passion of the teaching staff. The event formally commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer led by Rector Fr. K.M. Joseph, S.J. A lively interactive quiz brought added joy and engagement to the day, giving teachers and students an opportunity to bond in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. In his Vote of Thanks, Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes, S.J., summed up the celebrations as a meaningful acknowledgment of the unwavering commitment of Loyola's teachers. He expressed deep gratitude for their tireless efforts in guiding and inspiring students every day.

 

Teachers’ Day celebrated at DAV, SEC IV

 

DAV, SEC IV, Bokaro celebrated Teachers' Day on Thursday with immense enthusiasm and joy. The day began with a special morning assembly led by the students of Grade IX, where they paid tribute to the great teacher Dr. S Radhakrishnan. In a heartwarming tradition, the students then took on the responsibilities of the teachers, symbolizing respect and admiration for the teaching profession. The celebration saw the presence of prominent figures, including B. S. Jaiswal as the chief guest and Brahmdeo, LMC member, as the guest of the day. Principal, Sarbendu Sekhar Kar, delivered a stirring address that further elevated the spirit of the event. He emphasized the importance of respecting teachers and praised the staff for their exceptional contribution to the school's continuous success. His leadership, vision, and compassion inspire both students and faculty to strive for excellence.
