Hry Registered Vehicle Scrappage & Recycling Facility Incentive Policy: Dy CM
Chandigarh: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Monday said that besides bringing about a reduction in pollution and boosting fuel import bill replacement demand, the Haryana Registered Vehicle Scrappage & Recycling Facility Incentive Policy 2024 will be introduced for the development of recycling in Haryana. The objective of this policy is to transform the linear economy into a circular one by reclaiming inherent value in End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) materials through reuse, recycling, and recovery methods, thereby contributing to a circular economy. In addition to promoting advanced scrap recycling facilities in Haryana, more employment opportunities will also be created for youth. The Deputy Chief Minister was chairing a meeting today at the Haryana Niwas regarding the Haryana Registered Vehicle Scrap and Recycling Incentive Policy-2024.
Two-day Pet Festival in city on Feb 24
Chandigarh: A two-day Pet Festival will be held at Nexus Elante Mall on February 24 and 25 in Chandigarh. Not only dogs, all pets are welcome in the festival with free admission for Indie pets. There will be a pet talent show, pet fashion show, fun activities, mouth-watering food, and pet merch. There will be a dedicated play zone for pets with activities like a ball pit, doggy slides, and much more, a statement said.
