Special Cleanliness Campaign by Jharkhand Postal Circle
Jharkhand Postal Circle conducted Special Cleanliness Campaign 4.0 across the State. On lines of the national mission of Swachha Bharat, a Swachhta HI Seva campaign was conducted from September 17 to October 1 and a special cleanliness campaign was organised from October 2 to October 31 covering all 4643 postal network sites and ensuring that the initiative reaches the rural areas of the State. During this 343 files were reviewed, 4643 post offices were cleaned, about 4240 square feet of space was cleared by disposing off scrap and earning a revenue of about 14 thousand, 1300 public complaints were resolved and school and Youth Connect programme was organised in all divisions. About 1188 plants were planted under ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’, Prabhat Pheri and blood donations was also organised and 101 social media posts related to the programme were also made.
CBI holds loan distribution camp
A loan distribution camp was organized on Monday at the regional office Ranchi under the aegis of Central Bank of India Regional Office Ranchi. The program was presided over by regional head Sunil Kumar. Kumar highlighted the importance of interdependence between the customer and the bank and said that Central Bank of India, Regional Office Ranchi is always striving for the convenience, financial security, and financial progress of the customers. The stage was conducted by Official Language Officer, Sandeep Kumar.
PVUNL holds skill development, livelihood training programme
PVUN Limited (PVUNL) has launched a week-long mushroom farming training programme aimed at empowering local women farmers of nearby villages. The initiative is part of the company's commitment to impart skills to the community and generate alternative livelihood opportunities. The training was inaugurated on Monday by CEO, PVUN Limited, RK Singh and President, Swarnarekha Mahila Samiti, Rita Singh in the presence of department heads and members of Swarnarekha Mahila Samiti.
VBU holds inter-College yoga competition
Students from many colleges participated in the inter-college yoga competition organized by Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) Yoga Center. The competition was held at the USET campus. During the competition, students performed various yoga postures, including Surya Namaskar, Pranayama, and meditation. The program started with Surya Namaskar. In which 5 compulsory postures Paschimottanasana, Sarvanga Asana, Karnapeedasana, Purna Dhanurasana, Garuda Asana were performed.
Adventure Camp at SBPS
To instill leadership qualities, teamwork, and a spirit of adventure among the students, Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi organised an exhilarating week long adventure camp. Students of all the classes participated enthusiastically in various activities like Flying Fox, 5-step climbing, Twine and Net climbing, Walking on the Burma Bridge, Cat Walk, Monkey Crawling and Double Log Crossing. All the activities were conducted under the supervision of trained professionals ensuring safety and an enjoyable experience to all. Principal Paramjit Kaur, highlighted that such activities enhance the physical endurance and problem solving skills among the students which aid in the holistic development of every child as is also emphasised by NEP 2020 and NCF SE 2023.
