Association of Surgeons of India, Delhi State Chapter, is going to organise on 15th June a Nationwide Voluntary Blood donation camp in which Delhi top medical colleges and institutions are going to take part.
The institutions which have confirmed their participation include Lady Hardinge medical College , Ram Manohar Lohia hospital , Sehgal Neo Hospital, Jeevan hospital, South Delhi, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital , Northern Railway Central Hospital , MAMC and LNJP hospital, DDU Hospital , Hindu Rao hospital, and ESI hospital, Basaidharapur.
Voluntary Blood donation has been one of the noblest gifts that a human being can give back to society. "We as surgeons have always been the largest indirect consumers of this precious commodity. It is time now for us to pay back or facilitate it through our noble efforts. We plan to make it a big success and show the country that we stand together collectively for our Society and empathise with our patients and the people at large", said the association in a statement,
