Earlier in the year 2014, there was 1.9 inches i.e., 47.9 mm rainfall in the entire month. Whereas there was no rain after 2018.
Accordingly, the highest rainfall was recorded in 9 years, while after 5 years the record of rainfall in February was also broken. Meteorologists said that the weather will remain changed in March.
According to IMD, Bhopal, two western disturbances are becoming active on February 29 and March 1 whose effect will be seen in Bhopal also. Therefore, the weather here will remain changed between March 28 and April 2.
From February 29 cloud cover will be witnessed, chances of rainfall are less likely.
With the start of the month of March there may be rain with thunder activity. There is a possibility of rain throughout the city.
The weather will remain changed on this day also. Light rain may also occur in the Berasia region.

Evening flights of Air India and Indigo from Delhi could not land in Bhopal in the evening due to bad weather. Both the flights were diverted to Indore. However, both these flights could land in Bhopal with a delay of one hour each.

If we look at the data of the last 10 years, after February 20 the day temperature reaches beyond 31 degrees. At the same time, the nights also remain cold. This time also the weather has been similar so far. The temperature remained above 30 degrees for several days. Although there has been no rain for the last five years, this time the Meteorological Department has predicted rain. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature record has reached 1.7 degrees Celsius on the night of 11 February 1950, 74 years ago. At the same time, in the last 10 years the mercury has remained 2 to 6 degrees lower than normal.
