Top Bharatiya Janata Party functionaries joined Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to address a gathering of party workers in poll-bound Budhni on Friday.

Besides the Chief Minister, Union Minister for Farmer Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state unit chief VD Sharma, and state in-charge Mahendra Singh addressed the party workers' meeting, which culminated in a roadshow that proceeded for the filing of BJP candidate Ramakant Bhargava's nomination for the upcoming by-election in the constituency.

Addressing party members, Yadav said the BJP's victory journey from Budhni is progressing and must be sustained.

He asserted that the BJP win in the 13 November by-election will shatter all previous records. Sharma said that the tireless efforts of party workers will ensure historic victories for the BJP in both Budhni and Vijaypur by-elections.

Union Minister Chouhan remarked that he has always fought elections with the support of party workers, and this by-election will also be won by BJP workers. He urged them to ensure that the party candidate Bhargava's victory should outshine his win in the 2023 Assembly elections.

State in-charge Singh highlighted that the double-engine government of the BJP has led to comprehensive development in Madhya Pradesh, including Budhni. The conference was also addressed by BJP candidate and young BJP leader Kartikeya Singh Chouhan.

The nomination procession later reached the Budhni SDM office to submit the nomination papers for Bhargava.Likening the steady stream of party victories in Budhni to the Ganga, Yadav expressed confidence that wins will continue to flow for his party from the area. Mentioning the record BJP win in the constituency in the 2023 Assembly elections, Yadav said that Budhni had provided the first signs of a BJP sweep in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

He recounted how, during Congress's tenure, even operational water supply systems were neglected. The current government has focused on extensive development, including the establishment of schools, colleges, and infrastructure projects.

He pointed out that when the BJP came to power, Lord Ram smiled in Ayodhya, while Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and his family, did not attend the consecration ceremony for his temple. Showering praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ensuring that no adversaries advanced in Bhutan and Doklam, Yadav said that even after five years, China had to retreat from the Galwan Valley.

He assured that while their victory is assured, vigilance is necessary, and efforts must be relentless to ensure success. He urged everyone to unite and ensure Bhargava's victory in the upcoming elections.Sharma noted that since 2003, BJP Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh have worked towards development. Chouhan has transformed the state from a 'Bimaru' state to one making strong strides on the path to development. He expressed that the state will usher in a glorious era under the leadership of Chief Minister Yadav.

Now, under Mohan Yadav's leadership, efforts are being made to create a golden Madhya Pradesh. Chouhan has written the development narrative for Budhni, making it evident everywhere.Chouhan noted that Budhni was once a stronghold of the Congress party, but dedicated workers have established the BJP in the constituency. He emphasised that the Congress party is in no position to win.
