A horrific road accident took place in Bagodar of Giridih district on Tuesday afternoon in which a soldier died on the spot. In this accident, the condition of four soldiers is serious while 30 soldiers have been injured.
The IRB battalion was going to Garhwa when the accident occured at Bagodar, 60 km away from Giridih headquarters. The cause of the accident couldn't be known.
On receiving information about the road accident, Giridih Superintendent of Police Deepak Sharma Dumri SDPO, Bagodar SDPO along with other police station in-charges reached , and all the injured were brought to Bagodar Health Center where all the soldiers were treated.
District Superintendent of Police Deepak Sharma said that this incident is very sad and all the injured are being treated.
Bagodar health worker Dr. Vinay Kumar said that one soldier has died in this incident while all the injured soldiers are being treated. He said that due to the preparedness of the police, a major incident has been averted.
