The two-day annual celebration of Bal Bhavan School, Shyamala Hills, Bhopal began on Thursday with great pomp at the local Ravindra Bhavan.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Additional Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Government, Mohammad Suleman (IAS). Addressing the students and parents, he said, “Education is not limited to books only; it is a process that makes us mature in every sphere of life. This art is clearly visible in the students of Bal Bhavan. This celebration is not just a platform, but it is a celebration of the hard work of the children, their culture and their skills. I congratulate the management, teachers and students for this effort and hope that this school will continue to create new dimensions like this."
On this occasion, Mrs. Seema Suleman awarded all the participants!On the first day of the celebration, the students gave a unique display of Indian culture, diversity and art. Students from class 9th to 12th mesmerized the audience with traditional dance performances from different states.
Besides, the jugalbandi of western music and Indian cultural tunes made the program special.The play based on the story 'Bade Bhai Saheb' by famous Hindi literature writer Munshi Premchand emotionally connected the audience, while the English play 'The Bet' highlighted lifestyle and social values. These presentations not only showcased art but also highlighted the confidence and creativity of the children.
School Principal Humaira Arif presented the annual report. She said that this year is special for Bal Bhavan School, as the school is celebrating its golden jubilee. She proudly said, “In the last 50 years, Bal Bhavan has established new dimensions in education, sports and cultural activities. Our students are waving the flag of their ability in the country and abroad.
This celebration is a symbol of their efforts and dedication."
At the conclusion of the program, Vice Principal Anubhav Mishra thanked all the guests, parents and students and said that this celebration is the result of the hard work and dedication of the children.
He appealed to all the people present to continue supporting the efforts of Bal Bhavan.
This two-day annual festival will conclude on November 23! The chief guest of the programs will be Dr. Lata Munshi. She will be specially present to encourage the creativity and art of the children. Dr. Lata Munshi, who is known for her excellent literary and cultural contribution, will make the children's performance more inspiring.On this occasion, Bal Bhavan Committee Secretary Umar Farooq Ali, Coordinator Fiza Kaleem, senior staff members, parents and students were present!
