Amidst the on going road safety month a safety rally was organised on Tuesday to reaffirm commitment towards safety and raising awareness, at Jharia Division of Tata steel.
According to Rajesh Thakur spokesman of Jharia division , the rally comprised more than 75 security personnel from Jharia Division and SIS Group. It was flagged off by Barun Kumar Banerjee, Head (Safety) and Col. Bhawani Singh Nirwan, Head (Administration), Jharia Division, Tata Steel. The rally started from GM Office, Jamadoba, covering Jamadoba Pit two and concluded at Jamadoba Coal Preparation Plant. The rally was followed by a mass meeting on road safety in which locals too took part.
Sujit Kumar Jha, Sr. Area Manager (Security), Alok Kumar Sinha, Sr Manager (Surface Safety) Jamadoba Group, and Ravi Jha, Manager (Security), Jharia Division, Tata Steel were also present.
The Road Safety month is being organised from January 18 to February 17 2024.
