In a shocking incident in Bokaro's main market, City Centre, a group of six youths attacked and injured two women near Sector-04 police station. The beautician, Amita Kumari alias Amy Mishra, was seriously injured in the attack. She has filed a complaint at Sector-04 police station, naming three individuals and accusing two unidentified persons.
Amita Kumari, who runs the beauty parlour Studio Eleven in City Centre, detailed the incident in case number 70/24, dated 05.06.2024. She stated that on the night of June 4 at 10:20 PM, one of her female employees was heading home. Near Trimurti Jewellers in City Centre, Akhilesh Singh alias Dabbu Singh, who runs Habib Salon, along with Chandan, Alok, and two others verbally harassed her employee, reducing her to tears. The employee called Amita, who rushed to the scene, only to be attacked by Dabbu Singh wielding a bamboo stick.
Amita further stated that the attacker enjoys protection from certain political leaders, emboldening his actions. He has previously made vulgar comments towards her. Amita has visible injuries on her left leg, and the police conducted a medical examination at Sadar Hospital.
