In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, in order to keep a special watch on the liquor manufacturing factory and bottling unit located in Dhar district, Collector and District Election Officer Dhar Priyank Mishra and Superintendent of Police Dhar Manoj Kumar Singh are monitoring these units.
Special Armed Forces have been deployed w.e.f. March 29, 2024. While taking to The Pioneer Assistant Excise Commissioner Dhar Vikram Deep Sangar told that the liquor manufacturing factory M/s Great Gallion Ventures Limited located at Sejwaya in Dhar district, liquor bottling unit J.K. Enterprises and Oasis Distillery Limited located at Borali, 24×7 special armed forces have been deployed.
They will be continuously present at these units and will ensure daily checking of every vehicle loaded with liquor coming in and going out of the units. ACE Vikram Deep Sangar also said that by conducting surprise visits around the unit premises by Special Armed Forces , it will be ensured that illegal liquor is not released in any way and election related security is maintained. Instructions have also been given to the armed forces to enter the detailed details of vehicles coming in and going out of the units in a register. Instructions have also been given to the excise officers posted in the units to provide necessary support to these armed forces to carry out the above work and also to keep special vigil on the daily production, supply and closing stock in the units.
