Aishbagh police arrest absconding accused in murderous assault case

Aishbagh police arrested the absconding accused wanted in attempted culpable homicide; accused has been booked for over a dozen crimes.

In the month of April the complainant Babu Salam of  BaghUmarav Dulha, Aishbagh, Bhopal lodged complaint that he lends handcarts on rent. His nephew Faiz alias Kallu comes to house every day and demands money from him.

On April 14 at about 10.00 am accused came to house and started demanding money but victim refused to give  money and said that he had Rs 500 take this on which accused started abusing, when he stopped him from abusing accused attacked with a sharp edged and raised alarm on which sister Begum Bi and brother-in-law Raju and people from the vicinity came, who intervened after which the accused left the spot after threatening the victim.

Based on the complaint a case under sections 294, 324, 327, 308, 506 IPC was registered and investigation was started.

Senior officers were informed about the incident, on which a special team was formed and on Tuesday nabbed the accused Faiz alias Kallu Khan of Gwal Mohalla, Roshanpura and presented him in the court.

Accused Faiz alias Kallu Khan is a watch list criminal of Arera Hills police. He has 15 cases registered against him in various police stations of Bhopal city for assault, extortion, attempt to murder and possession of illegal weapons.
