AIIMS Bhopal has become a pioneering institution by launching the first Emergency Outpatient Department (OPD) service within the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) network. This significant milestone was marked by an inauguration ceremony led by Professor (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal today on Wednesday.
Professor Singh highlighted the importance of timely and accurate medical interventions in saving lives. He stated, "Through this emergency OPD, patients will receive quick and efficient medical services, ensuring better treatment at a lower cost. By effectively managing our resources, we aim to enhance the overall healthcare experience and satisfaction for our patients."
In connection with "Emergency Medicine Day" the emergency OPD was inaugurated in the Trauma deptt and Emergency Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal. The event featured key discussions by Dr Yunus head of Trauma & Emergency Medicine department and Dr. Bhupeshwari on the impact of climate change on emergency medicine, particularly focusing on summer-related illnesses.
