Ranchi Police and Lucknow Army Intelligence team conducted a joint operation and arrested six people including four women while buying and selling brown sugar.
Ranchi, SSP Chandan Sinha had received secret information that some people are buying and selling brown sugar near Rameshwaram Lane in Sadar Bariatu area. After which a raid team was formed under the leadership of Sadar DSP.
After which the police team along with Lucknow Military Intelligence unit cordoned off the place and raided it. During the raid, all the six people present in the room including four women and two men were wrapping brown sugar powder in aluminium foil and making small packets.
After which the police arrested everyone. These include Aarti Devi, Shugan Devi, Neetu Nand Kishore, Nand Kishore Mistry, Prithvi Kumar and Priyanka Kumari. 11.27 grams of brown sugar, 90 thousand rupees, six mobile phones and many other items have been recovered from them.
