Athree-year-old girl was sexually assauled in a private School of the state capital. The acued workng in technical department of school has been arested.
The girl told her parents about the incident and when the parents checked the injury marks on the private part of the victim, both were shocked and they reached the police station with the girl and lodged a complaint.
Sensing the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately registered an FIR.
The accused was identified as Qasim Rehan who is an employee of the technical department in the school. Surprisingly, employees are not even allowed to enter the class room.
Police have arrested the accused. The school principal Swati said that she was not informed about this matter. She said that the parents did not tell her anything. We were not informed at all.
However, the school administration will still fully cooperate with the police and the parents.
The principal further said that we have removed the accused Qasim Rehan from service. Besides, the teacher of the class room where this incident happened has also been suspended.
The accused looks after the IT work in the school. He is not a teacher. Now the police are investigating how a person who is not even a teacher did this to the girl. How did no one in the school came to know about the incident.
The girl waAfter the FIR was registered, the victm was medically examined and after rape was confirmed, action was taken against the accused under 74 and 75 of the BNS and sectiona of POCSO Act has also been imposed.
On this matter, School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh said that such incidents will not be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against the accused. If the school management is guilty, action will be taken against them as well.
According to the police, the girl's mother had complained on Monday that the teacher had misbehaved with her 3-year-old daughter. Two days ago, when the girl returned home from school, there were injury marks on her private parts. She reached the school to complain about this. She also told the name of the teacher, but the school management did not pay attention to the complaint, she told police.
DCP Priyanka Shukla said that after the complaint in the police station, the police reached the school and gathered information about the accused teacher Qasim. The accused has been arrested.
School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said, the accused has been arrested. The accused will be given severe punishment, action will also be taken against the school system. No particular person should feel that action is not being taken against them. These issues are being taken up with concern.
