According to the brother of deceased Chulbuli Kumari, Sharwan Korwa, two children Chulbuli and Priyanka of the same family were sleeping on the ground while Pannalal and one 3 year old girl were asleep on the bed  in  their home. In this sequence,  krait snake firstly bit both the girls who were on ground and later snake bite to Pannalal. When the snake bit Pannalal who was sleeping on the bed, he shouted and the family members killed the snake. The snake could not reach the fourth child and he was saved safely.

The family has taken the three children to the tantrik and is trying to get them exorcised. The family is hopeful that after exercising, all three children will come alive. Local villagers said that the family members have taken the children to Raji village under Kharaundhi police station area.

Garhwa SP Dipak Kumar Pandey confirmed the news and said that If the parents of the children had taken them to the hospital on time, their lives could have been saved. He has appealed to the people not to fall prey to superstitions and in such a situation, take the victim directly to the hospital so that their life can be saved by administering anti-venom on time.
