Chola Mandir police have booked a man for sexually assaulting a 26-year-old woman on the pretext of marriage, accused of sexually exploiting the woman for about three months.
The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
According to the Chola police station, the victim lives in the Chola Mandir area. She works as a hawker of old clothes. About a year ago, she met the accused Ganesh Kuchbandia. He is a resident of Itwara area of Bhopal.
Ganesh somehow got the mobile number of the woman and started calling her and talking. Gradually, the accused lured the woman into marriage and expressed his love.
Ganesh physically exploited the woman for three months on the pretext of marriage. A few days ago, when the woman came to know that the accused Ganesh was already married. After knowing this, the woman started keeping distance from the accused.
Despite this, the accused kept following the woman. When the woman stopped talking to the accused, the accused started threatening her. He threatened to kill the girl's younger brothers.
Distressed, the girl told the whole thing to her family and lodged a complaint against the accused at the police station. Police have registered a case of rape against the accused Ganesh Kuchbandiya and have started searching for him.
