25-year-old youth commits suicide by hanging from tree at Ratibad

A 25-year-old mentally disturbed youth committed suicide on Tuesday in Badjhiri of Ratibad police station area, his body was found hanging from a tree behind the house.

On the information of the family, the police have started an investigation by registering a case. After the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family. Initial investigation by the police revealed that the young man was mentally ill.

According to the police, Jagdish Singh a resident of Badjhiri village, lived with his mother and younger sister in his elder father's house. On Monday morning, Jagdish left the house for some work and did not reach home late at night.  On Tuesday, the family found Jagdish's body hanging from a mango tree behind the house. Jagdish had committed suicide by hanging.

According to the police, Jagdish did not do any work. His father had sold all the property before his death due to which he lived with his mother and younger sister at his uncle's house. His mental condition was not good and he was under stress while his mother's mental condition was also not stable. The family told the police that due to his mother's mental condition and other reasons, he committed suicide.

Meanwhile, the body of a man found near Holy Cross School has been identified as Rakesh Ladia, a resident of Kajlikhera.

There are injury marks on the body, which at first glance seem to be due to an attack. Nothing could be ascertained and only after the autopsy report details could be revealed.

On Tuesday, Kolar police station got the postmortem done and handed over the body to the family.

Kolar police said that on Monday, an employee of Holy Cross School was informed about a body in the bushes. On which the body was taken into custody after reaching the spot. After which, on investigation, the deceased has been identified.

Rakesh was originally a resident of Maharajpur Tehsil Deori and lived with his wife and child in Kajlikhera, Bhopal. He also has a daughter who lives with her maternal uncle.
