A 17-year-old stent of shooting academy committed suicide by shooting himself with practice gun in Ratibad area of the state capital, on Sunday evening.
The minor identified as Yatharth Raghuwanshi shot himself in the chest with a 12 bore shotgun after sitting on the sofa in the shooting academy. He pressed the trigger of the gun using his foot.
When the watchman heard the sound of the gunshot, he went and checked. He found the minor unconscious soaked in blood. On the information of the watchman, the police reached the spot and took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem. Today, after the postmortem at Hamidia Hospital, the family took the body to Ashok Nagar.
The uncle of the deceased Yatharth, who came to Bhopal, has alleged that he had a dispute with the seniors. We had asked him to complain about it to the coach. However, according to the police, a senior player had accused Yatharth of theft, due to which he was very upset.
The deceased was the son of the sports officer of Ashok Nagar.
Ratibad police station in-charge Ras Bihari Sharma said that the deceased Yatharth Raghuvanshi , was a resident of Ashok Nagar. Yatharth was living in the shooting academy for the last two years.
