A 15-year-old minor committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling in Gadhi Nagar on Friday night, his five-year-old niece saw and informed her mother but before he could be saved he hanged to commit suicide.

Police said that deceased identified as Sonu Kumar committed suicide and when his sister reached the room, she saw that her minor brother was hanging from the noose. When raised alert and the neighbors came to help. They took the body down from the noose and informed the police. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.

According to the police, Sonu Kumar  Kumar, hailed from Morena. For the last two years, he lived with his sister and brother-in-law in Gandhi Nagar behind the Radha Krishna temple. He used to set up a food cart in the Gandhi Nagar area.

The family members told the police that before committing suicide, he never mentioned any problem. His behavior was normal. It is not known why he committed suicide.

The deceased's neighbor Sonu Jatav told that Sonu was alone at home on Friday night. His brother-in-law had gone to work. His sister had gone to the nearby market to buy vegetables. His innocent five-year-old niece was also at home. In front of her, Sonu made a noose and put it around his neck.

The niece asked uncle what are you doing, then Sonu asked her to leave the room. The niece immediately went to call her mother. After calling her, when she returned home, Sonu had hanged himself.

There was no movement of any kind in his body hanging on the noose. They shouted and called the neighbors. The neighbors took down the body and informed the police.
