Sadhvi Prachi, the national president of Bhagwa Kranti Sena, attributed the defeat of Bharatiya Janata Party in UP to the neglect of party workers, suggesting that demoralised workers chose to stay home during the elections, leading to the ruling party’s setback.
Despite this, she noted that the ruling party’s vote percentage did not decrease.
Speaking at an event in Shahjahanpur, organised to celebrate Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s birthday, Sadhvi Prachi remarked that while the opposition’s numbers are increasing, the BJP’s worker base appears to be dwindling.
Nevertheless, she reiterated that their vote share remained steady.
Sadhvi Prachi advised the BJP leadership to respect and acknowledge their workers, emphasising that only through this respect can the party recover from its loss.
Addressing the BJP’s defeat in Ayodhya, she stated that using the name of Lord Ram as an excuse for the loss is inappropriate, highlighting that winning and losing are part of the electoral process.
Despite her criticisms, she praised the BJP, likening it to a vast ocean, and expressed confidence that the party would make up for this defeat in the next election.
