Today under the auspices of Bharatiya Janata Party Scheduled Caste Morcha, tributes and homage were paid to the great philosopher Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on the occasion of his birth anniversary in the state office.
On the occasion, State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh said that Jyotiba had established 'Satyasodhak Samaj' in 1873 to provide justice to the Dalits and weaker sections. Seeing his social service, he was given the title of 'Mahatma' in a huge public meeting in Mumbai in 1888 AD. Today we all need to follow his example.
Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri said that Jyotiba Phule's contribution to the society is unforgettable. Jyotirao Govindrao Phule was an Indian social activist, businessman, anti-caste social reformer and writer from Maharashtra. Her work spans many fields, including the abolition of untouchability and the caste system and her efforts to educate women and oppressed caste people.
State President of Scheduled Caste Morcha, Kishun Kumar Das said that Jyotiba Phule was a great social reformer, writer, philosopher and revolutionary activist of the 19th century. He is also known as Mahatma Phule and Jyoti Ba Phule. She spent her entire life in giving women the right to education and stopping child marriage. Phule wanted to free the society from the trap of evil practices and superstition. He died on November 28, 1890 at the age of 63.
