In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi requested the Government to facilitate a debate on NEET in the House on Wednesday.
“I believe it would be fitting if you were to lead a debate on NEET in students’ interest,” Rahul said.
He said the Opposition’s request for a discussion on NEET was declined in both Houses of Parliament on June 28 as well as on Monday, and added that the Speaker had assured the Opposition that he would discuss the matter with the Government.
