Preparations for the first anniversary of Shri Ramlala's consecration are in full swing, alongside the accelerated construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Among the temple’s five sanctum towers, the pinnacle of the Rang Mandap has been fully completed.
Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, announced that the temple’s first anniversary will be celebrated as per the Hindu calendar on January 11, 2025, corresponding to Paush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi.
He said that the consecration of Shri Ramlala was performed on January 22, 2024, according to the Hindu lunar calendar, and its first anniversary falls on January 11, 2025.
“All major Hindu festivals such as Janmashtami, Ram Navami, Vivah Panchami, Shivratri, Mauni Amavasya, Purnima, and Ekadashi are celebrated according to the Hindu calendar, and so will the first anniversary of Shri Ramlala’s consecration, Rai saidand added: “To ensure smooth planning, the Trust has formed a four-member committee that will finalize the event details soon”.
Construction of several temples within the temple complex, including the Saptarishi Mandir dedicated to Lord Shiva, Surya, Maa Durga, Devi Annapurna, Lord Ganesha, and Hanumanji, has also picked up pace.
He added that 18 additional temples are being constructed within the temple complex, with work progressing steadily. The first-floor mandap is nearing completion, where the Ram Darbar will be established.
