UP Youth Cong sends postcards to PM

Wednesday, 12 April 2023 | PNS | Lucknow

Continuing their attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, leaders of the Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress have sent thousands of letters, addressed to the prime minister, questioning him for his alleged relations with Gautam Adani.

Taking the postcard campaign against the PM further, UP Youth Congress president Kanishk Pandey said here on Tuesday that the way the voice of MPs is being muted in the parliament and the membership of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been cancelled is unfortunate for a democracy. He termed all these moves political.

“We all will continue to do Satyagraha against the undemocratic and unconstitutional moves against our leader Rahul Gandhi, and will not back down,” he said.

Pandey said that in the postcards sent to the PM from GPO here on Tuesday morning, they asked several questions such as ‘How many crores of funds has Adani given to BJP so far?’, ‘How many contracts did Adani get after your official foreign visits?’, ‘Please also tell us the formula by which your dear friend became the second richest person in the world from 609th place in eight years?’

It may be mentioned that a postcard campaign is being run in the entire state by Youth Congress leaders. The campaign was held in Lucknow under the leadership of State Youth Congress president Kanishk Pandey.
