The closing ceremony of the 18th Udbhav Utsav- 2023 organised by Udbhav Cultural and Sports Association in collaboration with Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Greenwood Public School and LIC concluded here tonight’ The international event provided a unique platform to various cultural groups from India and abroad to share and showcase their beautiful cultures, values and traditions.
The concluding Gala Night was organized in the open theatre of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya on Sunday night, the last day of the four-day Udbhav Utsav. During the four days of the program, tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the foreign teams from Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia and Tibet to get the Udbhav Utsav title. Seeing the heart-pounding performance of Kyrgyzstan's artists on the concluding night, the audience started dancing uncontrollably. People kept gazing at the mesmerizing performances of the artists. Along with foreign artists, artists from Indore, Gurgaon, Gwalior and Aurangabad won the hearts of the people. A total of 17 presentations were seen one after the other, in which amazing presentations of songs, music and dance enthralled the viewers and made this moment memorable.
Chief Guest Padma Bhushan and Member of Parliament Dr. Sonal Mansingh said that Udbhav Utsav has its own special identity in the country and the world. The reason is that the organization is the guardian of Indian culture and civilization as well as the cultural heritage of many countries of the world. Bulgarian Ambassador Yankov Nikolay said that he was overwhelmed to see the diverse forms of culture in the historical and musical city of Gwalior. He added that he felt proud of Indian culture and art. Principal of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya Nishi Mishra, Director of Greenwood Public School Kiran Bhadauria, Senior Divisional Manager of LIC Khalil Ahmed, Marketing Manager Sudesh Kumar Pandey and Director of Mishra Hospital Saurabh Mishra also expressed their views. President of the organization Dr. Keshav Pandey and Secretary Deepak Tomar honoured the guests by presenting mementos. The program was conducted by Yashasvi Sharma and Braj Kishore Dixit while Chandrakant Sharma presented the vote of thanks.
In the classical school category, Delhi Public School, Gurgaon; Queens College, Indore and Vidyadevi Jindal School, Hissar were the winners while Gandharva Academy, Indore; Shrimata Nirmala devi Dance Jhankar, Aurangabad and Shikka Dance institute bagged the prizes in the classical open category. In the semi classical open category Vallabh Dance Institute, Indore; MITS, Gwalior and Nupur Cultural Institute, Gwalior won the prizes. In the Semi Classical School Category, Delhi Public School, Gurgaon; Bharatiya Vidya Niketan, Gwalior and Daily College, Indore bagged the prizes. Alvi Dance Academy, Gwalior and Gandharva Academy, Indore won prizes in folk open category while Shishukunj International School, Indore; Daily College, Indore and Greenwood Public School, Aditya Puram won the prizes in the folk school category.
