Traders will meet District Collector Ashish Singh in connection with the fire in three shops of Lakherapura in Bhopal. The traders claimed that due to a short circuit in the electric pole, there was a huge fire in three shops. Due to this, the traders suffered loss of lakh or rupees and district administration should compensate for this.
Earlier there was a fierce fire in the shops late on Friday night. One of these shops was completely gutted. State General Secretary of Traders Mahasabha, Rakesh Agarwal said that the fire broke out in the shops due to the short circuit in the electric pole. Have complained about this pole several times before, but the power company have not take it seriously and resolved the issue.
Anupam Aggarwal told that in Lakherapura, electric wire nets are hanging at many places. Due to this incidents of arson are happening. It is the negligence of the power company. That is why the delegation of the trades will meet the collector and the area engineer of the electricity company on Monday. They will be demanded to improve the system and provide relief to the aggrieved traders.
