Sweta Mangal Ziqitza's Co-Founder remarked 108 Ambulances Supports all types of Medical Emergencies

Asia’s largest emergency healthcare services provider company Ziqitza Healthcare Limited has showcased an exemplary record in terms of serving a wide range of emergency medical conditions in the state of Jharkhand. From changing the mode of working in the COVID-19 phase to responding actively with first aid to snake bites, insect bites, poisons and even gastritis and diarrhoea, the team running the 108 ambulances on ground is specially trained to handle any and every type of medical emergency. Between April 2022 to May 2023, the 108 ambulances has served 10094 accident victims (including 7160 vehicular accidents and 2934 multiple victim accidents) and 84533 pregnant women. Apart from these many other types of medical emergencies have been attended to by the 108 ambulances through which 1,97,375 patients have been served. 

The second highest number of ailments attended to by the 108-ambulance team after pregnancy is head injuries for which 8710 callers called the 108 ambulance. A large number of callers also call to seek help in case of fracture, fever, sudden unconsciousness, abdominal pain, breathing problem etc. 

Speaking about the service to the people of the state, Mr. Milton Singh, Project Head Jharkhand, Ziqitza Health Care Limited said, “Ziqitza is now currently in its 6th year of service in Jharkhand and has been the force behind 108 Ambulance and through the years we have evolved ourselves to offer the best possible care to the patients. Be it urban areas or the rural ones, we understand the patients needs and extend support to them 24x7. The 1.97 lakh patients in 6 year, we have served are a testimony of the dedication with which our team is working.” 

Throughout its tenure at Jharkhand, the company has conducted many training sessions for the 108 ambulance staff. Speaking about the same, Ms. Sweta Mangal, Co-Founder at Ziqitza Healthcare said, “The 108 ambulances in Jharkhand are not only run by trained EMT and staff but are also fully equipped to provide the first aid needed for a number of ailments. We also maintain the highest level of hygiene standards and cleanliness in our ambulances. We also abide by all government guidelines needed to be followed while extending medical service. These attributes have helped us continue earning trust from the people in Jharkhand.” 

ZHL, which completed its 5 years of service in Jharkhand in 2022, is committed to serving the people of the state with the help of their 337 ambulances out of which 287 ambulances are equipped with basic life support services, whereas 50 ambulances are equipped with Advanced Life Support equipment for the patients being transferred from one hospital to another. The company had set up a state of art Call and Dispatch Centre with hundreds of trained team members handling over 5,000 calls a day.
