Seminar on individual’s contribution in social service

Friday, 15 December 2023 | PNS | GWALIOR

When the society is big then service cannot be small. There is no small social worker: the one we call a social worker is always big. Only when the worker is great, the work becomes great. In such a situation, we all should collectively remain dedicated to doing better work in the field of social service.

These were among some of the views expressed by Sudesh Pandey, Marketing Manager of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and motivational speaker during his address at the seminar on individual’s contribution in social service held at the International Centre of Media Excellence, Gwalior.

Pandey was speaking as the Chief Guest of the seminar.

He said that whenever any organization moves forward, every person has an important contribution in it. He added that without sand and cement, stone and inert cannot be joined and  if the stones cannot be joined then the house cannot stand. Pandey further said that LIC is also doing exemplary work in the field of social service. An effort has been made to improve the lives of people by planting two lakh saplings in the area.

Organizer and chief facilitator of the program, Keshav Pandey, in his presidential address, expressed concise views on the importance of social service in human life and the role of the individual in it. He said that charitable donation is the greatest pleasure in life. Only by being filled with the spirit of service can we set an example in front of other people. So that the entire society can be collectively moved forward on the path of upliftment and progress.

During the seminar SK Sharma, Purushottam Pandey and Rambabu Katare also expressed their views. The seminar was conducted by Mahesh Mudgal and vote of thanks was given by Deepak Tomar. Before this, Center Director Dr. Pandey honored the chief guest Sudesh Pandey by presenting him a shawl, shreephal and memento.
