A amount 1.26 crore rupees is dues on 361 towers which was installed
by the different companies in different areas of the town. The
Assistant labour enforcement commissioner office has issued the notice
to all the companies to deposit the dues amount within 30 days,
otherwise the certificate case will be lodged on all the companies who
have installed the tower of different mobile companies.

The assistant labour enforcement commissioner Anil Kumar Ranjan said
that we are getting the regular complaint that the agents of tele-
communication companies are installing the tower without having the
permission from labour enforcement office.

We have started the survey and found that in the whole district 361
towers have been installed by the companies. During the survey we came
to know that they have not taken the permission from labour
enforcement office.

He further said that the amounts are dues on Tower vision pvt. Ltd.
2,10,000,Jio Infratel private Ltd. 14,35,000, ATC telecom
infrastructure private limited 15,75,000,  Sumeet digital pvt
ltd.10,85,000, reliance jiocom Ltd. 40,25,000, Bharti Infratel
25,20,000, Indus Limited 17,85,000. All the companies had installed
the towers in the district.

Ranjan further said that according to rule and regulation of the
department a contractor has to contribute 1 % amount of the total cost
of a tower in the labour welfare board. He said that no one has
deposited that amount in the board.

He said that in the notice we have given to every companies 30 day to
pay the dues amount in the office, if they will do so than certificate
will be lodged on them and they have to pay the due amount with 2 per
cent extra charge on the total amount.

This is the first time when labour enforcement office has taken such
large action on the tower companies.
