On the occasion, Mahato said that teachers should be respected, teachers contribute in the society which is progressing or growing. “A better and educated society is created only because of the education of good teachers, teachers have done great things, have established empires, the first empire of the Country was formed because of teacher Chanakya. Lord Buddha will also be called a teacher. Such an initiative should be appreciated and teachers should be honored every year,” he added.

On the occasion, Oraon said that whatever position a person has reached in the society today, it is definitely due to the contribution of those teachers who have shaped him. While narrating the memoirs of his student life, he said that he himself cannot forget the contribution of his teachers from primary class to higher class and every person should respect all the teachers who have come in his lifetime. He also explained the duties of teachers and said that it is the responsibility of every teacher to discharge his duties in such a way that he can become an ideal citizen for the society, only then the Country can progress.
Praising PASWA, the Minister said that definitely the teachers of private schools also deserve respect and Paswa is doing a noble job of boosting their morale by organizing big teacher felicitations in the state. When teachers are honored, their morale will increase and only then they will work wholeheartedly to shape the society, he added.

Dubey said that since PASWA was established in 2011, the organization has been organizing felicitation ceremonies to encourage teachers and students, through this, PASWA honors people working in the field of education. Today's program is definitely historic and will make a valuable contribution to the field of education in Jharkhand. The teachers who are being honored will build a better society, he added.

Dr Ajit Sinha talked about emphasizing on reading habit among students. He said that in the changing situation there is a need to connect children with books but in the present situation the use of mobile phones in education is a big challenge. “It is having a widespread impact on children. We are getting a lot of information from the internet and it is being used well but parents always need to pay attention to children and mobile phones should not be given in their hands without any use. The phone should be kept away from the room while sleeping. Children have to develop the habit of reading books and teachers can play an important role in this,” he added.

On this occasion, 200 principals and directors were also honored on one platform and teachers of more than 5000 private schools from different districts of Jharkhand were honored with mementos, certificates and uniforms for providing quality education in limited resources. Respected teachers greatly praised PASWA's work.
