National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur has taken a step to develop Pindrabera village of Rapcha Panchayat. Children from here have represented their state Jharkhand and also their country in archery.
Director of NIT Jamshedpur Prof Gautam Sutradhar said that National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur will make every possible effort for the all-round development of this village under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. He said while addressing as the chief guest on the occasion of inauguration of the pond built under the project of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan in "Pindrabera of Rapcha Panchayat".
The special guest of the ceremony, Satyanarayan Nanda, Head CSR, Tata Steel assured every possible effort from the Tata company for the beautification of the pond by planting fruit trees, fish farming and for the future of the archers.
Dr. Ranjit Prasad, Convener, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, as per the instructions of Director, for the all-round development of the village, according to the survey, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, NIT Jamshedpur, Jharkhand Government, said to prepare a road map with the help of local industry and voluntary organizations . He further said that the rural children will be taken for an educational tour to NIT Jamshedpur.
This project is made under the guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Kumari, Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Jamshedpur under the project of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan
Inauguration of the pond in Pindrabeda of Rapcha Panchayat in the presence of special guest Mr. Satyanarayan Nanda, Head, CSR, Tata Steel Long Products Dr. Madhusudan Rao Co-Professor Department of Civil Engineering Dr. Ranjit Prasad, Coordinator, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Jharkhand Chief Guest Coconut water was offered by Prof. Gautam Sutradhar, Director National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, and head of Rapcha Panchayat, Sukumati Mardi.
During this, the present guests met the youth practicing archery at Rapcha football ground and appreciated their achievements. And village coach Prem told the guests about the achievements and dedication of the players, as well as assured them of help for the development of the ground and sports equipment for the players.
