National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) organized "Mehfil-e-Bhopal" to initiate the launch of its new Chapter in Bhopal on 27th October that will serve as a platform for advocating fair business policies and providing education to its associates and members.
The event was graced by the chief guest of the occasion IAS Manu Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development, Cottage and Rural Industries Department, Government of MP.
The Guests of honour were IPS Pragya Richa Shrivastava, Additional Director General, Women Safety, Madhya Pradesh and IPS Janardhan Gumpula, Additional Director General, Traffic (PTRI), Madhya Pradesh. Other special guests included IPS Harinarayan Chari Mishra - Bhopal Police Commissioner, IAS Ashish Singh - Collector of Bhopal, IAS Frank Noble - Bhopal Municipal Commissioner and Alexander Hogeveen Rutter - Private Sector Specialist, International Solar Alliance.
Anurag Katriar - NRAI Past President & Trustee; Founder and Managing Director, Indigo Hospitality Pvt Ltd who was present as the key speaker of the event addressed the gathering with his valuable words. Other dignitaries including Kallol Banerjee - Co-founder, Rebel Foods and Sagar Daryani, NRAI Vice President; CEO and Co-founder, Wow! Momo Foods Pvt Ltd also gave their oration marking the event. Panel discussion included Mr Hari Om Jatia - Head MP of EEMA and RJ Ved from MY FM.
NRAI, which represents more than five lakh restaurants across the country has registered another achievement with its new chapter in Bhopal. It will provide education and training to employees and promoters of the Food and Beverage Industry to facilitate networking and collaboration, maintaining industry standards and supporting local businesses and cuisines.
Association, at the National level, has been relentlessly advocating changes in the laws governing the Indian Restaurant Industry at Local, State and Centre levels; providing opportunities to educate members and is playing a key role in promoting skilling and career opportunities for industry professionals through the Hospitality Sector Skill Council.
