In a tribute to the Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his birth anniversary celebrated as National Unity Day, a program was organized at the Collectorate, where the oath of national unity and integrity was administered. The solemn event witnessed officials, personnel, and the Scouts and Guides team paying homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel through garlanding and offering flowers.

In the auditorium of the Collectorate, participants took a collective oath, pledging to dedicate themselves to the maintenance of the nation's unity, integrity, and security. The oath emphasized the commitment to spreading this message among fellow countrymen, echoing the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The ceremony commenced with heartfelt tributes as attendees garlanded and offered flowers to a portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In a poignant moment, all present took a solemn oath to dedicate themselves to upholding the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The oath also included a commitment to disseminating this message among fellow countrymen, echoing the ideals embodied by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, a march past by the Scouts and Guides team commenced from the Collectorate, marching through Jubilee Park and returning to the Collectorate. SDM Dhalbhum,  Piyush Sinha, and ADM Law and Order,  Rajeev Ranjan, showed the green flag to commence the march past, symbolizing the unity and spirit of the nation.

Distinguished guests, including ADM Law and Order  Rajiv Ranjan, Director NEP Mrs. Jyotsna Singh, Special Division Officer  Dipu Kumar, District Planning Officer  Arun Dwivedi, District Transport Officer  Dhananjay, and District Public Relations Officer  Rohit Kumar, graced the occasion with their presence. The event not only paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel but also reiterated the collective commitment towards preserving the unity and integrity of the nation.
