The two month long BJP state president Babulal Marandi outreach programme christened as Sankalp Yatra will on October 28 at Harmu Maidan, Ranchi. State BJP general secretary Pradeep Verma who is also yatra coordinator said that the Yatra will conclude on October 28 with a public meeting.
Verma said that Sankalp Yatra started from 17th August under the leadership of State President and former Chief Minister Babulal against the failures of the state government, power-supported corruption prevalent in the state, broken law and order, unemployment, women oppression, looting of minerals and appeasement.
He said that as part of Sankalp yatra the State President had resolved to visit all the 81 assembly constituencies of the state and establish direct communication with the public and inform them about the situation in the state. But this Sankalp Yatra of the State President turned into a Jan Sankalp Yatra with the immense support of the public.
He said that till now this yatra has been completed in eight phases in 71 assembly constituencies. The way the public has flocked to listen to the first Chief Minister of the state and the State President of BJP even during the rainy season, it is clear that the public is fed up with the misdeeds of the Hemant government.
Dr. Verma said that currently there is a travel holiday due to Dussehra. The concluding program of the Yatra will be held on 28th October at Harmu Ground in Ranchi.
He said that in the concluding programme, there will be a joint meeting of 6 assembly constituencies Ranchi, Hatia, Kanke, Mander, Khijri and Tamar assembly constituencies in which thousands of workers and the public will gather.
Dr. Verma told that along with the Sankalp Yatra, Meri Maati, Mera Desh program was also being run by the party workers in the entire state in which soil, urns from martyr places, martyrs' villages and historical places were collected from every village for the construction of Amrit Vatika. Soil has been collected by filling it.
Told that 312 urns including all 263 blocks and 49 municipal body areas will respectfully reach Ranchi Harmu Maidan on 28th October and will be sent to New Delhi.
He said that this joint program will fill the 3.25 crore people of the state with a new message and new inspiration.
Dr. Verma said that preparations for the concluding ceremony are going on in full swing. Along with the puja, the workers are also busy preparing for the programme.
